Twitter is buzzing with reaction to the Black-Eyed Peas' Super Bowl halftime show. The Grammy Award-winning group kicked off its futuristic show with their 2009 hit "I Got a Feeling." But technical problems marred the performance, which included separate cameos by former Guns N' Roses guitarist, Slash, and Usher. The show is also generating attention because frontman Will.i.am inserted politically tinged lyrics into the Black-Eyed Peas' 2003 hit "Where Is the Love?" He called out, "Obama, let's get these kids educated" and "create jobs so the country stay stimulated." A sentiment that was probably lost on most of the 100 million viewers whose eyes were drawn to the glowing dancers who ringed the stage throughout the performance.

Enjoy Oscar-winning actress Marisa Tomei will be hosting the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' Scientific and Technical Awards on Saturday, February 12, at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills. She will present 11 awards to 23 individual recipients during the evening. Marisa Tomei won a Supporting Actress Academy Award in 1992 for her performance in My Cousin Vinny . She has since received nominations in the category for her roles in In the Bedroom (2001) and The Wrestler (2008). Marisa's upcoming films include The Lincoln Lawyer , with Matthew McConaughey and Ryan Phillippe, Crazy, Stupid, Love with Steve Carell, Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone, and The Ides of March with George Clooney, Gosling and Paul Giamatti. The 83rd Academy Awards ill be presented on Sunday, February 27, 2011, at the Kodak Theatre and broadcast live on ABC

This girl can handle a knife an fork.  Just ask Adam Shulman who she ate with or shall we say dinner this past Wednesday.  Oh she is 28 years old, that has a lot to do with dinner. Well any way her and beau dined on Italian food together at Capo restaurant. This is really special oh how I wish my long dead gram ma could see this. To me Adam Sandler just looks silly. Yet he is loved by millions. That just shows you what I think means nothing to the left side of life.So that being said we found this little note for those of you heavy rightsided. Adam Sandler is one of those actors who always seems to be  juggling, or attached to, a bunch of film projects at once.  One project in particular that has been floating around Hollywood with Sandler’s name and production company Happy Madison  attached to it is “Fat Man,” a film written by Mike Reiss (“The Simpsons”)

Summit Entertainment's has worked with vampires and werewolves, will they try their hand  with Frankenstein (the mad scientist, not the monster)? According to Deadline, the studio  behind "The Twilight Saga" has acquired the screen rights to the upcoming YA novel "This Dark Endeavor: The Apprenticeship of Victor Frankenstein" by Kenneth Oppel,  which hits bookstores August 23. The novel is a prequel Mary Shelley's"Frankenstein." The plot is about young Victor  Frankenstein and his quest to save sick twin brother Konrad. He seeks help from  a mysterious alchemist, who sends Victor and his friend Elizabeth on a dangerous  journey to find the three ingredients needed to create a serum called the Elixir  of Life that will heal Konrad. Like any YA novel worth its salt, the love triangle begins for sure.
